Shtrousser, Shraga (Feivel)


Shraga, son of Rachel and Aaron Shtrousser, was born in Poland in 1946. When Shraga was three, in 1949, the family immigrated to Israel. In May 1964, Shraga was drafted into the IDF Reserves and was assigned to the Armored Corps, where he completed his basic training and was sent to the tank training course. In August 1966 Shraga was released from compulsory service in the Israel Defense Forces. At the beginning of January 1991 Shraga was called up for reserve duty and was stationed in his unit in the Maintenance Corps. On January 6, 1991, Shraga fell in the course of his duties from cardiac arrest. He was laid to rest in the in the military cemetery in Segula in Petah Tikva. He left behind his wife, three daughters and a son, his mother, two brothers and sister.
