Shtetmauer, Eitan
Son of Avraham and Luba. He was born on August 20, 1937 in Haifa. When he reached school age, he visited the Kiryat Haim elementary school; He then attended a vocational school there. He went to the sea and all that was in it, and so he went to the fisherman’s school in Limer-Hefer (near Moshav Mikhmoret) and completed his studies there. Belonged to the maritime section of Hapoel. He was a member of the United Movement. When he reached the time of his induction in November 1955, he gave his regular service to the navy and during the Sinai Campaign served in the Gulf of Solomon. Afterward, he became a guide and then moved to Nahal by Michmoret, eventually serving in the Nahal Brigade (free of charge) and being a tractor in the Lachish farm. In this capacity, on Wednesday, 26 December 1956, he fell, his friend was with him and called for help, but when he was brought to the clinic, the doctor pronounced his death and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
