Son of Amalia and Jacob. He was born in 1894, and after immigrating to Israel lived in Tel Aviv. During the Second World War he enlisted in the British Army and was assigned to the 6cmtc Company of the Transport Corps. He served in the Western Desert and in the Suez Canal area of ​​Egypt.
