In this unit, he demonstrated vigor and initiative, and after a while he was declared an outstanding soldier in his battalion and received a letter of appreciation from then-President Yitzhak son of-Zvi, and after his release from duty he turned to the building of his private life. He was called up for reserve duty from time to time, and in this service he underwent a unitary training course, and even before the Six-Day War called to reserve duty and on the fourth day to the battles (June 8, 1967), fell in a battle at the outskirts of Rafah, trying to rescue a jeep that had overtaken Mo Who had been buried in the emergency military cemetery in Bari and later taken to a permanent rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, his memory was raised in “Yesodot”, the organ of the workers’ union.
