Shoshan, Dror
Son of Rachel and Abraham. Dror was born at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon on 17 April 1973. He studied at Nof Yam Elementary School and continued his studies at the ORT high school. On November 28, 1991, Dror joined the IDF and served in the Armored Corps. He continued his regular service until his release in December 1995, with the rank of lieutenant and as platoon commander. On February 22, 1996, Dror joined the police. In January 2000 he was promoted to the rank of Superintendent, and in January 2002 he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel. Dror had many hobbies: everything related to the sea – surfing, diving and diving; ATVs, heavy motorcycles, bungee jumps and Hebrew music. Superintendent Dror fell in the course of his duty on 28.11.2003 in the Ayalon Highway, where he was buried at the military cemetery in Ashkelon, leaving parents and three brothers.
