Ben Maya and Amnon was born in the city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan, the eldest brother of Benjamin and Avraham, on December 2, 1981. When he was one year old, his parents decided to move to Ukraine, where he grew up and spent most of his childhood. The family immigrated to Israel and lived in Lod, where Yossi and his brother began studying in a religious school to add knowledge of Judaism, and a year later Yossi moved to a secular school where he studied for two years. And thanks to his great help, the family managed to establish themselves, and thanks to Yossi, his younger brothers were given the opportunity to learn quietly and calmly. He worked for a year at Tel Aviv’s Limenta Company, where he became fond of the workers, became one of the best employees in the company and shortly before became a machine manager. “And he worked there until he was drafted, and when the first order came, Yossi rushed to the recruitment office and passed the tests in order to enlist in the IDF and serve the State of Israel. In 2000, Yossi’s grandfather and grandmother died. Yossi, in his warm and loving heart, volunteered to live with her and help her with everything. Against his will, he had to postpone his conscription and stay with his grandmother until she regained herself after losing her precious husband. On April 30, 2001, Yossi enlisted in the IDF and completed his basic training as an outstanding trainee, and after completing basic training, On July 13, 2001, Yossi was killed when he was serving at the age of 19. He was buried at the Segula military cemetery in Petach Tikvah, leaving behind his parents, two brothers and a grandmother. Always willing to sacrifice his wishes to help parents move forward. He had a very broad heart, who would give anything for nothing. A child whose dreams never materialize. He was a good man, a loyal friend and a real brother. A quiet and kind child who passed away early, a young boy who has not yet had time to see all the beautiful things in the world. “
