Son of Simcha and Yosef. Yaakov immigrated to Israel from Bulgaria in 1939 and lived on the Jaffa-Tel Aviv border. He was a member of the Haganah and earned a living as a jeweler. On 5 Nisan, April 14, 1948, he was killed in a traffic accident when he accompanied a convoy of fuel on his way to his neighborhood and was brought to eternal rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
