Roy was injured in one of the courses. He suffered greatly from the injury and had to move, after two years, to serve as a freshman instructor in the Education Corps. But about six months before his release, he returned to his unit and served as a corporal in the company of the Irgun infantry unit, which was in his personal file. Roi was admired by his friends, showed responsibility and volunteered spirit, “A man of leadership, orderly and clean, responsible, with a high work ethic, with the ability to organize and manage, is a personal example of someone else, responsible.” On the day of his release, On the eve of Sukkot, Roi was killed along with his friend Yariv Amit in a horrific car accident before the Yagur junction.
