Shnitzer, Yuliu (Eliezer)
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on February 22, 1957, he immigrated to Israel with his family in 1971. Eliezer studied at the elementary school in Santa Fe and when he immigrated to Israel he stayed at Kibbutz Mesilot for about ten months. After graduating from high school in Kiryat Ata, he was an outstanding student and was very successful in his studies, and was absorbed quickly in high school despite the difficulties of acclimatization. He helped his mother as much as he could, and he treated his sister and they had pain. Eliezer was drafted into the IDF in November 1974 and volunteered to serve in the Nahal paramilitary brigade during the period of waiting for basic training. He turned out to be a good soldier who fulfilled his duty with dedication and responsibility. He was also a loyal friend of his unit. “On May 23, 1975, Eliezer fell to the cemetery in Kiryat Ata, leaving behind a mother, two brothers and a sister.
