Zvi, son of Deborah and Bejo, was born on 25.1.1943 in Pardes-Chana. After graduating from elementary school, he completed his studies at the agricultural high school in Pardes-Hanna. Zvi, whom Zvika called everything, was a cheerful young man, loving life and loving society. It was a joy of life and he gave him an atmosphere of friendship and kindness. Thanks to his qualities, he was fond of the residents of Pardes Hanna, his classmates and his friends in the youth movement. He was a human lover, a loyal and evil friend of truth, who was willing to come to the aid of all those who wished and to devote his time and property to a needy friend. Zvi was drafted into the IDF in the middle of October 1961, and together with his comrades joined the ranks of the Nahal Brigade. After completing basic training, he completed a course for squad commanders and later completed a course for the Hermesh Checkers, and at the end of July 1963 he was discharged from the regular army and assigned to a reserve unit of the armored infantry. He studied at the engineering school of the Technion in Haifa, where he married his girlfriend Edna, whom he met when he was a regular soldier, and returned to Pardes Hanna, where he grew up and raised. And Zvika worked for a short period at “Hadera Paper Mills” and later on He found his place as a member of the “Tnufa” cooperative for earthworks and road construction, where he was found to be a devoted and industrious worker who was willing to face any challenge and face all the difficulties. He was highly improvisational and excelled in all fields of work, and was able to find the right answer in every situation, thanks to his love of man and kindness, who became an authority in the human relations between the workers. . After three years of work he was elected as a member of the management of the cooperative. His friends knew his skills and abilities and knew that a day would come when he would run the company and lead it. The most Yaffa hours of his life were the hours after the long day’s work, the hours spent with his family and the caretaker to care for his children. There was a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere in the house and it was full of children’s laughter, whose parents shared their good deeds. He and his wife began to expand and renovate their home. When he was drafted on Yom Kippur 1973, he left behind the skeleton of a building, in which he invested his energies and building his energies, and in the Yom Kippur War his unit participated in the battles against the Syrians in the Golan Heights on October 14, 1973. ) Zvika was critically injured in the shelling of our forces in the village of Kfar Nasej, and was evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where he fought for seven days.
