Son of Hava and Moshe. He was born on the 6th of Tishrei 5713 (6.10.1913) in the city of Radzvilov in Volhynia, Russia, where he fell in the village of Rostoki in the village of Rostoki. After the establishment of the Jewish Brigade and its participation on the Italian front, Joseph’s battalion operated in the Alfonsina area, which was considered especially dangerous. On the 17th of Nisan 5745 (March 31, 1945) his department left for a field tour, during which he was hit by a grenade and killed on the spot. He was buried in Ravenna, Italy.
