Shmueli, Elisha (“Redhead”)


Son of Shmuel and Chasida. Born on April 23, 1935 in Tel Aviv, he completed his studies at the “Tachkemoni” school and then studied mechanics at the “Shevach” vocational school, was a member of the Scouts and also taught there. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in December 1952 and served in the Israel Air Force and was promoted to the rank of lieutenant on the 13th of Nissan. 1956) fell with his friend in the course of his duties. The parents donated a Torah scroll – through the Ministry of Religious Affairs – to the “Ohel Mo’ed” Synagogue in Kiryat Ono, named after him. His mother also commemorated his name by donating furniture to the Ohel Sarah synagogue in the Shapira neighborhood of Tel Aviv.
