Shmuel, Victor (“Vicky”)

Son of Nazri and Nazi. Born in 1951 in Iraq and immigrated to Israel with his family as a baby, he studied at the Rabbi Simcha Assaf Elementary School in Ashkelon and was an excellent athlete, especially in soccer, basketball and volleyball. He was always ready to help them and everyone, both in studies and in other ways, and when he finished his elementary studies, he began studying at the “Southern Yeshiva” Victor was drafted into the IDF in mid-August 1970 and assigned to the Armored Corps. On the 23rd of Tishrei 5731 (October 23, 1970), he took a vacation from which he did not return. He fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Ashkelon.
