Shmokler, Matityahu

Son of Aharon and Ita. He was born on the 10th of Sivan, May 25, 1923 in Poland. In 1948 Matityahu immigrated to Israel with his wife and two children. A month after his arrival he was called to serve in the IDF and on 3 Nisan, April 2, 1949, he fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak. He left a wife and three children. The third child was born after he fell and was named after him.
