Shloush, Machluf


Son of Simcha and Shlomo. Makhlouf was born in Morocco on July 1, 1933, the fourth child of a family of five, and the family died in 1951. He immigrated to Israel with his family at the age of eighteen in 1951. The family lived in Tiberias. Machluf joined the army and was assigned to the Artillery Corps. Upon his discharge from the IDF, he enlisted in the Border Police Border Guard, where he participated in a course for cooks. On the 4th of Adar 5707 (March 4, 1956), a Border Police team was summoned to the Sea of ​​Galilee to rescue a police ship that was on a rock, east of the Jordan estuary. Machluf was killed when he was 20 years old. He was buried in the cemetery in Tiberias, and he was immortalized in the police monument built on the shore of the Sea of ​​Galilee.
