Shlomo, Ezra


Son of Shlomo and Sa’ida. Was born on April 10, 1934 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. He attended elementary school there. He was a printing worker until his arrival in Israel and when he reached the homeland he learned the profession of plastering and being the eldest son was the only livelihood of the entire family. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement. He was drafted into the IDF in December 1951. On August 24, 1953, he fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Netanya.
