Shlomis, Zvi (“Tzvika”, “Champo”)


Son of Baruch and Rebecca. He was born on 27 August 1943 in Bnei Brak. He studied at the Hamanhil Elementary School in Ramat Gan and after graduating he attended the Ohel Shem School until he completed his studies there. He was quiet, restrained and close-mouthed, gentle and brave. Knew the secret of tzimtzum by expressing opinions on various questions. His knowledge was deep and deep. He also discovered athletic ability and even acrobatics of youthful spirit and cheerfulness. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement. He was drafted into the IDF in July 1961 and served in the Israel Air Force, where he graduated with honors, and his commanders predicted a great future for him. He fell in the course of his duties on 2 December 1964, together with his friend Yiftah Ramot, who was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Yiftach Ramot The parents of Tzvi Even Zion established the place where the two sons fell – between Timna and Yotvata.
