Shlomi, Mordechai


Son of Refael and Batya. He was born on September 27, 1942 in Syria. When he was one month old, the family moved to Beirut and there until 1950, when the family immigrated to Israel. Mordechai completed his elementary studies in Haifa, then attended a vocational high school in Daughter of Galim and finished as a metal technician. In August 1960 he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Armored Corps, and since then he was on reserve duty in his pre-Six Day War, While he was looking for the rescue of his company, he fell in a battle that took place in Jabel-Livni, and before he fell, Mordechai destroyed five enemy tanks and placed a wife in her pregnancy, and the son, born a month and a half after the fall of his father, The military cemetery for emergencies in Bari, and later was transferred to a permanent rest at the military cemetery in Haifa, and in a booklet published by his brigade and battalion, his memory was brought up in the book “The Trees Cut Off” And they sanctified pillars about him and ruled.
