Shlagman, Mordechai
Son of Yitzhak and Yocheved. He was born on 13 April 1947 in Jerusalem and attended the Sokolov Elementary School. He completed his studies at Beit Hakerem and then studied high school in the pedagogic preparatory programs near the teachers’ college – also in Beit Hakerem. Mordechai had varied artistic talents and was particularly interested in modern art. He was a rich-hearted fellow, very sensitive, with a rich imagination and an excellent sense of humor. Mordechai was drafted into the IDF in July 1965 and served as an operator in the Israel Air Force on February 15, 1967, when he fell and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
