Shimoni, Henry

The son of August and her mother. He was born in the city of Sfax in Tunis in 1955. In 1955, he immigrated to Israel with his family and was one of the first new settlers in Ashkelon and completed his studies at the elementary school. Until his enlistment in the IDF, he worked in his profession and helped carry the economic burden of the family at the time. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1963 and served in the Logistics Corps, on 21.6.1965 he fell while serving and was laid to rest in the civil cemetery in Ashkelon.
