She was vaccinated and blessed. Yael was born in Jerusalem on December 15, 1968. Jacob’s little sister, Abraham, Yardena, Moshe, Ofra and Menasheh. On March 23, 1990, Yael enlisted in the Israel Police. She passed an officers’ course and over the years progressed to the rank of lieutenant colonel. Yael married Yaron Sheetrit. The couple lived in Jerusalem with their children Noa, Merav, Yonatan and Yoav. Yael fell during her duties on the 12th of Elul 5771 (12.9.2011). Forty-three years old in the fall. She was brought to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem. A husband, two daughters and two sons, left six brothers and sisters. Yael’s gravestone was written by her lovers: “A woman of youth and Yaelat Chen.” And they added the verse: “Know all the hair of my people that the wife of Hilel” (Ruth 3:11).
