Sherouf, Samir

Ben Riya and Najah. Samir was born on 2 September 1953 in Isfiya. He attended elementary school in the village and graduated. In May 1972, Samir enlisted in the IDF and served in the 299th Battalion. After completing his military service in 1975, he joined the Israel Police and served in the Israel Railways security system. “Every person who entered his office came out satisfied, even when he did not get what he wanted,” Samir said in a statement. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Isfiya.
