Sherman, Boris
Son of Kalman and Daughter of-Sheva. He was born on 20 July 1904 in the city of Melitopol, Russia, and after graduating from high school, he studied at the university but did not finish his studies there, because he was a symbol of Jewish civil defense. Was to defend the Jews from a Japanese attack, immigrated to Israel in 1949 after the War of Independence, and in July 1950 he entered the service of the standing army with the rank of sergeant. On the 15th of Tammuz 5716 (15.6.1956) he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, and a wife named the city of Givatayim, commemorating one of its streets.
