Sherf, Moshe


Son of-Haim-David and Rachel, one of the founders of Kfar Vitkin. He was born on February 11, 1937, in Kfar Vitkin, where he completed eleven grades at the local school. He devoted himself to his studies and especially to the studies of society and nature, yet he always found time to give his hand to work in the field. He was a member of the Ha – No’ar ha – Oved movement in the village He was winking from pioneering material, and however difficult the job was, the desire to control it and fill it in perfectness increased. At the age of 17, he decided to leave the house and begin his induction into the IDF together with his friends and join a Nahal group that settled in Tel-Lachish (October 1954).
