Shepard, Wilfrid


Son of Rosa and Ernest was born on November 26, 1922, in Vienna, the capital of Austria, where he attended high school, and upon the annexation of Austria to Germany he arrived in England as a refugee in 1938 and two years later graduated high school with honors. Literary talents, etc. When he was 16, he published a dissertation on the development of the drama, volunteered for the British Intelligence Service in the Second World War and, after his discharge from the army, tried to be admitted to the university, (Foreign volunteers) and participated in the War of Independence. He served in the second platoon, Company B, 72th Battalion, 7th Brigade. On December 26, 1948 he was killed in an accident at the Pilon camp. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rosh Pina
