Shempen (Poisner), Moshe

Son of Fishel and Chaya-Rachel. He was born on the first of Adar I, February 3, 1927, in the city of Sharpez, Poland, and immigrated to Israel in 1935. He was drafted into the IDF in February 1948 and participated in various combat activities. After an officers’ course he continued his army service. On the 11th day of Sivan 5710 (27.5.1950), while fulfilling his duties, he fell and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
