Shemesh, Ohad

Ohad, son of Sarah and Shai Yaakov Shemesh, was born in Ashdod in 1987. Ohad served in the army and made his home in Mazkeret Batya, where he married Hadar. Ohad fell in battle during Operation Tzuk Eitan on 23 Tamuz, July 21, 2014, five days after he was drafted into reserve duty in the Intelligence Corps by order. He was twenty-seven when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Mazkeret Batya cemetery. Survived by his wife, parents, brother and sister. Ohad was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant.
