Shemesh, A.

During World War II, he enlisted in the British army. He was killed in a car accident on 5 Sivan, 8.6.1943, and was buried in the British military cemetery in Tobruk, in Kernaya, Libya. He was immortalized in “The Book of Volunteerism” in “The Book of the Year of the Journalists” and in “Yizkor” of The Jabotinsky Institute.
