Shelo (Shila) Matzliach
Son of Shlomo and Miriam. He was born on May 18, 1955 in Jerusalem. He studied at Masada Elementary School and continued his studies at the Lady Davis High School, in the electronics track, and was a good student, and his teachers and friends liked him, and he succeeded in a quiet, humorous, loving and human nature. He successfully enlisted in the IDF at the end of July 1973. After basic training, he was sent to the Air Force Technical School for training in shooting control and interception. Due to difficulties in adaptation released successful before the time. In the two years he spent outside the army, he successfully completed a course for those responsible for explosions on behalf of the Ministry of Labor. He received the highest score on the exams and was the best candidate. After an improvement in his condition, Mazliah was called to a service balance at the end of December 1975. On January 21, 1976, Mazliah fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. Survived by his parents, six brothers and four sisters. In a letter of condolence to the family, his commander wrote: “Your son served as a commanding soldier and fulfilled his duty to our full satisfaction.”
