Shekha, Zakai-Yitzhak (Zaki)


Son of Mordechai and Na’ima. He was born on 10 June 1943 in Basra, Iraq, where he began to study in an elementary school, and when the family immigrated to Israel (via Persia) he continued his studies at the “Onim” He worked in agriculture and was very fond of the chess game, and in October 1061 he was drafted into the IDF. He fell on the 27th of Nissan 5724 (27.4.1962) in a battle over the Sea of ​​Galilee and was brought to rest in the cemetery at Kibbutz Naan. The kibbutz issued a booklet in his name and in his memory.
