Sheila, Tzvia

Daughter of Yishai and Miriam. She was born on 15.2.1943 in Ma’agan, studied at the elementary school in Degania Aleph and graduated from the high school in Kiryat Tivon. Afterward she studied sociology at Tel Aviv University and in July 1961 she was drafted to the IDF. Both in her studies and in her service in the army, she was an example of all her gentleness and politeness. She has always accepted the yoke of mitzvot and with honor she has fulfilled the tasks that have been imposed on her. She was self-righteous, and she was very modest – and this was evident in her work as a service counselor and more recently in her welfare and education roles in the army. Her thoughts and actions flared with the fire of yearning for human-social relations on the foundations of lofty ideals. On the 16th of Tevet 5723 (11.1.1963), she died and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa
