Sheikh, Fried

Son of Farah and Salah. Farid was born in the Druze village of Abu Snan in 1945. He was the son of a family of professional builders. Fried served in infantry from 1964 to 1966. Fried founded a house in his village, married Kochav and was the father of Ashraf, Mahdi, Hana, Farcha, Sausan, Elfat and Hala. Fried served in the Israel Prisons Service in October 1980. He served in various security positions at the Tel Mond Prison (Hasharon) during his entire service in the Prisons Service until his last day. Fried was wearing the seniority certificate, and on Wednesday, August 10, 1983, Fried died after a serious illness, at the age of thirty-eight, leaving behind a wife and seven children
