Shefer (Shefransky), Yosef (“Yoske”)


Son of Aryeh and Yehudit. He was born on September 15, 1920, in Poland, where he immigrated to Palestine with him when he was three years old, and when he reached school age he studied at the Alliance in Haifa and graduated from the beginning of World War II (1939) (1946), served in the Artillery Corps in the British Army and was drafted into the IDF in April 1948. After completing his regular service, he continued as a tourist in the career army. He died as a result of a Lev attack on 20.6.1966 and was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery, where he left a wife and two children.
