Shefer, Mira (“Mirella”)

Mira, daughter of Shlomo and Matilde Shefer, was born on February 19, 1943, in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. When she was six months old, she immigrated to Israel with her parents. She was drafted into the IDF in December 1961. While she was still in reserve duty, Mira died of an illness. This was on the 30th of Sivan 5767 (8.6.1967), and in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, Mira was brought to rest.
