Shechter, Jacob

Son of Zaida and Dvora. He was born in Tiberias on May 25, 1923. He completed his studies at the “Kol Israel Haverim” school there and was a member of the “Hanoar Haoved” youth movement and later a youth counselor at the Be’er Ora farm. . Was conscripted into the IDF in February 1948 and served on the rank of lieutenant on the day of the 13th of Av 5702 (1942) died and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Tiberias.
