Shechter, Elnatan

Son of Ruti and Reuven. He was born on 27 September 1978 in Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion. On 19.4.2001, Elnatan was killed on his way to operational activity, and his unit completed training in the Golan Heights and was sent to catch a line on the Lebanese border. On the descent from the Golan Heights to the Gonen Junction, an accident occurred, the vehicle descended into the abyss and Elnatan was killed. He was twenty-two years old when he fell. After his death he was promoted to sergeant. He was laid to rest in the Kiryat Shmona military cemetery. Survived by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
