Shaul Maimon

Son of Bechor and Karya. He was born on the 30th of Sivan, 5631 (31.5.1931) in Tripoli, Libya. He graduated from an Italian elementary school there. Even before he immigrated to Israel he was involved in defense matters there. About a year later, he was drafted into the IDF and participated in the Sinai Campaign where he died, because he fell in the battle of Abu-Agila on the 28th of Mishvan 5717 (2/11/1956) and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Har- Herzl in Jerusalem.
