Shasha, David

Son of Abudi and Georgia. Born in 1928 in Baghdad, capital of Iraq, he immigrated to Israel and was immediately drafted into the IDF. On the 5th of Nisan 5711 (May 6, 1951), he was killed in a battle in the Jordan River near Lake Kinneret and was buried at the military cemetery in Afula On the 27th of Tammuz 5717 (17.7.1952) he was laid to rest at the military cemetery Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
