Sharabi, Yosef
Son of Shoshana and Amram was born in 1923 in Yemen and immigrated to Israel in 1934 with his parents who settled in Tel Aviv. For a living he worked as a builder. During World War II, he served in the British Army in Palestine and abroad. During the War of Independence, he served in the Armored Corps in the 8th Brigade, participated in the “Danny” operation and fell during the conquest of Beit-Nabala on 4 Tamuz, July 11, 1948. Yosef was laid to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
