Sharabi, Moran

Daughter of Carmela and Amnon. She was born on May 7, 1982 in Gedera. In December 2000, Moran enlisted in the IDF. She was stationed as a field driver at a very remote base from her home, but she did not think of asking for a transfer. She performed her role diligently and successfully, and within a short period was surrounded by love and admiration from the soldiers and commanders. On April 8, 2001, Moran was seriously injured in a road accident that occurred near Ben Shemen, and four days later, on the 19th of Nissan 5768, she died when she was 19. After her death she was promoted to corporal. Moran was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Gedera.
