Sharabi, David

Son of Simcha and Menahem, was born on the 22nd of Tishrai, October 26, 1929 in Yemen and immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1935. David participated in the battles of Jaffa, Ramle, Lod, Beit-Nabala, and Be’er Sheva, and fulfilled his duties with love. He was cheerful by nature, loving song and a nature walk. David participated in Operation Horev to expel the Egyptian army from Israel and fell in Auja-El-Hafir in the Negev during an air attack on the 1st of Tevet, January 2, 1949. He was buried in Mishmar Hanegev and left behind a wife. On the 23rd of Cheshvan 5710 (15.11.1949) he was transfered to the Nachlat Yitzhak Military Cemetery.
