Sharabi, Benjamin
Son of Rachel and Israel, was born on August 16, 1934 in Yemen, and was orphaned in 1936. He was educated at the Tel Aviv Municipal Youth Center, where he went to work. He grew up with a small, stout vegetarian, but he grew up with a tall, stout young man, his face showing some of the great suffering he had endured in his short life, and the passion of his youth for the homeland. Joined the Irgun underground and introduced a “correction” in his documents in order to be accepted into combat service despite his early age. When his commanders refused to participate in combat operations, he burst into tears and forced them to respond to him. During the War of Independence he participated in the conquest of Jaffa, a Jew and Ramle, and fell in the conquest of Malha on July 14, 1948. He was 16 years old when he was killed, and he was buried in Sheik Bader A on September 10, 1950) was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
