Shamir, Arie (“Arik”)

Arik was drafted into the IDF and volunteered for the paratroopers in August 1967, when he completed his studies at the boarding school, where he grew up with a serious sense of responsibility. He returned to his unit and was appointed deputy commander of a company with the rank of lieutenant, and when he was at the boarding school, Aryeh decided to join a career army service, but as early as the beginning of his career in the career army, On August 12, 1970, he was absent while carrying out his duties, and the next day his body was discovered and he was brought Eternal rest in the cemetery in Safed.
