Shameev, Pinchas
Good luck and mercy. He was born on December 28, 1961, in the city of Kuba, in the Soviet Union, where he completed his elementary studies. In 1975 he immigrated to Israel with his family, who set up her home in Be’er Sheva. Pinchas studied for a year in the mechanics track at the Amal high school in Be’er Sheva and later began working as a mechanic and driver at a military base. He was involved in various sports – running, football and light athletics. In November 1979 he was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces and served as a truck driver and storekeeper, and he was a good soldier. Pinchas underwent a course in motor mechanics and issued driving licenses in various vehicles. He financially supported his family and divided his time between his work as a car mechanic and his work as a truck driver. Assisted his crippled mother and his brothers, took care of all the household needs, and maintained and repaired damaged electrical appliances. Pinchas was engaged three months before his death and stood before marriage. He was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva and left behind a mother, three sisters and three brothers – Sarah, Ariel, Sonia, Moshe, Avi and Shoshana, in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “Pinchas was a disciplined and disciplined soldier. He never asked for anything, but did what he was told, faithfully and without a problem. Every commissioned reserve would come with precision and never evade fulfillment of this sacred obligation. “
