Shalom, Joseph-Shmuel
Son of Shmuel. During the Second World War, Yosef-Shmuel enlisted in the British Army and was assigned to Unit 606 in the British Expeditionary Force. When the German army threatened to conquer Greece, a British expeditionary force was set up and sent to Greece to arrest the Germans. The unit of Yosef-Shmuel was also sent to Greece and in the battles that took place, at the end of April 1941, Yosef-Shmuel fell in battle. The date of his death and his burial place were not known. He left a father who lived in the city of Port Said in Egypt. A study conducted in 2017 found that the date of his fall was 28.04.1941, 1 Iyar.
