Shaki, David


Son of Shlomo and Shoshana. He was born on the 16th of Tamuz 5758 (16.7.1958) in Moshav Bnei Aish. Here he attended elementary school, completed his high school studies at the vocational educational institution in Shved Binyamin in the direction of electricity and electronics. David was a very sociable boy. He devoted most of his free time to activities in the Bnei Akiva youth movement, which he was a member of, and in the other social gatherings. He had an evening voice. A lot of listening to music and pleasant singing of the evening of family celebrations. At the beginning of August 1977, David was drafted into the IDF and assigned to the Maintenance Corps, where he served alternately as a wireless operator and as an accountant on 16 July 1978. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. Parents, three brothers and a sister The family donated a Torah scroll to the Etz Hayyim Synagogue in Moshav Bnei Aish.
