Shahar (Shreter), Yosef


Son of Robert and Aliza. He was born on July 17, 1931 in the city of Oliewice, Czechoslovakia. He was eight years old when he immigrated to Israel with his mother. He graduated from elementary school in Ginegar. Worked in electromechanics. He was drafted into the IDF in June 1948 and later became a lieutenant during the last year of his life in France, and when he went there he changed his name to me: Shahar, while in France, did not stop longing for Israel, He was among those killed on an El Al flight that was shot down on a Bulgarian soil on July 27, 1955. He was brought to eternal rest in a grave in the civil cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He died and left behind a wife
