Son of Leah and Daniel. He was born in Afula on May 15, 1970. He was born in a family of three, studied at the Jezreel elementary school in Afula and continued his studies in the humanitarian track at the David son of-Gurion High School. As a young son, he received special attention from his older brothers and parents, and he was very fond of quarantine in his room, listening to his favorite music, playing on his computer And watched sports shows from all over the world, from an early age he continued to basketball and spent most of his free time devoted to training and games. In May 1988, he was drafted into the army and was sent to basic training. On the last vacation after basic training he arrived in a high mood. Told about the impressive inauguration ceremony and wished that the parents were not invited. About three weeks after his enlistment on 27.5.1988, on a Simcha vacation, Chen was killed in a road accident. He was eighteen years old. Chen was brought to rest in the military section of the Afula cemetery. Survived by his parents, sister – Tali, and brother – father. The commander of his unit wrote in a letter of condolence to his family: “Chen – like his name, loved by his friends and commanders – was taken from us in the process of transforming him from an adolescent boy into a soldier in the IDF.
