Son of Leah and Chaim, was born on October 30, 1929 in Tel Aviv. When he was a year and a half his parents separated, and since then he has not seen his mother again. Who grew up in his father’s parents’ home until his father married a second wife and was very affectionate to his stepmother, his mother, his educator, who saw him as comfort and comfort. After graduating from elementary school, he went to work in order to contribute to the household, which was made more difficult by his father’s illness. Worked as a scaffold in the building. Was a very musical boy, who delighted his friends in playing the harmonica, but excelled in singing. He was a dedicated and talented member of choirs of workers (Ravitz, Mann, Kaplan). When he was 16, he joined the Haganah. With the outbreak of the War of Independence he was one of the defenders of the Hatikva neighborhood. Upon his full deployment he was sent to the front. Who served in the Givati ​​Brigade and took part in the battles. While he was still in the Hagana, he left it to his mother. But when he had to leave the city for his first time, he told her the following: “Mom, I have to go far from here, wish me a quick victory.” He would be modest and the first to respond to any difficult task. A day before the end of the first truce, the Egyptians violated it and attacked our forces in Beit Daras. In this battle, on August 8, 1948, he was hit by a bullet in the forehead and fell to the military cemetery in Be’er Tuvia.
