Shafir, Shalom


Ben Yona and Moshe. He was born in Givat Ada on January 11, 1959. He studied at the elementary school in Givat Ada and at the high school in Nahalal, an agricultural boarding school. And was assigned to serve as a mechanic at the Air Force base in Lod. Upon his discharge from the IDF, he moved to Kibbutz Ein Zivan in the Golan Heights, and in 1982 he joined the ranks of the career army and served in the IAF Technical School, where he met Hagit, who later became his wife. They lived in the city of Nazareth Illit, where their eldest daughter, Chen, was born, and in 1987, when the music was six months old, Shalom moved to serve at the Uvda base in the south, and as a result the family moved to Eilat, where their son Ran was born. Shalom was a social man and excelled in his kindness, he was pleasant, not a man of war and war, but a model family member and A friend in times of trouble, with a sympathetic ear and a supportive shoulder, a modest, smiling and smiling eternal peace Shalom fell in the course of his duty on February 14, 1999, and he was forty years old. Rabbi Shalom Shafir was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery In Givat Ada. Survived by a wife, two children, a father and six brothers and sisters.
